One Lake Master Planned Community
Lot Space Secured with Reticulated Piles
Commercial Project | Fairfield, CA
One Lake is a 2800-unit master planned community by Canon Station with a focus on outdoor living. McKinley Partners is leading the development of the 386-acre site located in the hills of Sonoma County. The residential development includes a 21-acre lake-park district, community center, and several single-family home neighborhoods.
At the development entrance, monument signage with pilasters were constructed with concrete masonry unit (CMU) block and finished with concrete overlay, custom horizontal veneer, and custom unfinished steel accents designed to develop a rusted patina over time. The heavy lengths of veneer required exceptional precision and craftsmanship with cutting, installation, and groutwork.
For lot retaining walls, GS2 block was used on reticulated pile structures for vertical shoring, increasing stability with minimal disruption to the surrounding environment. GS2 uniquely integrates with helical piles to enhance installation speed, reduce soil displacement, and cut material and labor costs.
